Shop terms

Retail purchase terms for Royal Spices Market.

1. Seller and scope

Royal Spices Market is operated by Royal Spices Guatemala S.A. These terms apply to all retail orders placed on this shop. Wholesale and export orders are governed exclusively by separate written sales contracts.

2. Order and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract exists only once payment has been confirmed by the card processor, or by our finance team for bank transfers. Royal Spices may refuse or cancel any order before dispatch (e.g. pricing errors, stock, suspected fraud, sanctions or legal restrictions); any amount paid is then refunded in full and no further claim exists.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the selected currency and include packaging. Delivery, and the DDP surcharge if chosen, are shown separately. If a price changes before payment you must confirm the new total. Unpaid bank-transfer orders lapse after 5 business days. Bank charges and card fees of the buyer are the buyer's responsibility.

4. No returns, no withdrawal

All products are food products packed to order. Returns, exchanges and cancellation after payment are not possible, and there is no right of withdrawal, to the extent permitted by law.

5. Delivery and transfer of risk

Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees; dispatch starts after cleared payment. Risk passes to the buyer when the goods are handed to the carrier (Guatemala courier or DHL Express). The buyer must give a complete and correct address; costs of failed delivery, return or re-delivery caused by the buyer are charged to the buyer.

6. International orders, duties and import rules

Without DDP, all duties, import taxes and clearance fees are paid by the receiver. The buyer is solely responsible for verifying that the products may be imported into the destination country. Goods seized, destroyed or refused by customs, or refused by the receiver, are not refunded. With DDP, Royal Spices pays the duties and taxes assessed at import; fees for additional inspections or documents requested by the destination authority remain with the buyer.

7. Transport damage and wrong items

Visible transport damage must be noted with the carrier on delivery. Wrong or missing items must be reported with photos of the package and label within 48 hours of delivery to info@royalspices.com.gt. If confirmed, Royal Spices will, at its option, send a replacement or refund the value of the affected item. No goods are taken back.

8. Product nature

Spices are natural agricultural products. Colour, size, aroma and moisture vary by harvest and lot; photos are illustrative. Such natural variation is not a defect. Store cool, dry and closed. Products are packed in a facility that handles several spices.

9. Limitation of liability

Royal Spices' total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. Royal Spices is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, or carrier and customs delays, except in cases of intent or gross negligence where the law does not allow limitation.

10. Resale and business use

Shop prices are retail prices. Royal Spices may limit quantities. Buyers purchasing for resale do so at their own responsibility for labelling, permits and food rules in their market; trade terms are only available through a sales contract.

11. Force majeure

Royal Spices is not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by events beyond its control, including weather, harvest failure, strikes, carrier or customs disruption, or government measures.

12. Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Guatemala. The courts of Guatemala City have exclusive jurisdiction. If any clause is invalid, the rest remain in force.
