⸺ Payment Security & Bank Reference
Why we use bank-secured T/T milestones — not escrow.
Third-party escrow platforms cannot release funds against export-cost documents (harvest financing, phytosanitary fees, freight prepayment, container-loading labor). We finance these costs from our own working capital before your container leaves Guatemala, so we need the buyer's advance in our BAC operating account to trigger production. In exchange we operate risk-controlled T/T milestones with a bank on record, redacted proof documents on this page, and a written refund clause if we fail to load on the agreed window.
T/T Milestone Structure
- 30%Advance on signed sales contract — triggers harvest allocation, packing and phytosanitary preparation.
- 70%Balance against copy of Bill of Lading and pre-shipment inspection report — before original documents are released.
- L/CIrrevocable Letter of Credit at sight accepted for repeat buyers or orders ≥ 3 containers.
If we fail to load your goods within the contracted shipment window and the delay is our fault, the advance is refunded in full to the originating account within 14 banking days. Clause included in every signed sales contract.
Bank Reference — BAC Credomatic
Active corporate banking relationship with BAC Guatemala.
Both entities (NIT 103937722 · NIT 1701316K) maintain USD and GTQ operating accounts at Banco de América Central (BAC). Wire receipts from EU, MENA and North American buyers are consistent with our declared export volumes. The redacted reference letter below can be downloaded now; the original signed & stamped BAC letter is released bilaterally to verified buyers under NDA.
