1. Standards
Our operations follow HACCP (Codex Alimentarius), ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 principles, Global G.A.P. for field-level practice and the U.S. FDA FSMA / Preventive Controls framework for shipments destined to the United States.
2. Pesticide & Contaminant Compliance
Every export lot is tested for pesticide residues (multi-residue panels), aflatoxins, ochratoxin A, heavy metals and moisture. We comply with EU Regulation 396/2005 (MRLs), U.S. EPA tolerances and the importing country's specific limits — whichever is the stricter.
3. Traceability
Each lot is traceable from farm polygon to container number through a unique lot code printed on every bag. Records cover harvest date, dry-mill batch, certificate-of-analysis number, container, vessel and bill-of-lading.
4. Laboratories
We work with accredited laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025) in Guatemala, the Netherlands and the United States. Certificates of Analysis (COA) accompany every shipment.
5. Recall & Withdrawal
We maintain a documented mock-recall procedure exercised at least once per year, with traceability targets of full reconstruction within four (4) hours.
