1. What to Report
Bribery and corruption; fraud, theft or accounting irregularities; sanctions, AML or trade-control breaches; conflicts of interest; harassment, discrimination or unsafe working conditions; environmental harm or deforestation in our supply chain; data-protection or cybersecurity incidents; any other behaviour contrary to applicable law or to Royal Spices policies.
2. How to Report
Please send your report by email to info@royalspices.com.gt with the subject line beginning "ETHICS:". You may include as much detail as possible (dates, locations, persons involved, supporting documents). Reports may be submitted in Spanish or English.
3. Anonymity & Confidentiality
You may report anonymously. Where you identify yourself, your identity and the content of your report are treated as strictly confidential and shared only with the persons strictly necessary to investigate. We do not attempt to unmask anonymous reporters.
4. Non-Retaliation
Royal Spices strictly prohibits retaliation against any person who reports a concern in good faith or who participates in an investigation. Any retaliation is itself a serious breach and will be sanctioned.
5. Investigation
Reports are reviewed promptly by the General Management and, where appropriate, by external counsel. Material findings may be escalated to the Board, to external auditors and to competent authorities (IVE/SIB, Ministerio Público, MAGA, MARN) as required by law.
6. False Reports
Reports made in bad faith, or with the deliberate intent to harm a person, are not protected by this channel and may give rise to disciplinary or legal action.
